Ex Global and Warner Music Aprileen Alexander Joins Auddy in New Head of Finance Role

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

“I was intrigued by the opportunity to look behind the hood of a podcast company.” – Aprileen Alexander, Auddy’s new Head of Finance.

Following recent announcements from Auddy including closing an investment round and acquiring Audiomy to expand into the DACH region, Auddy is continuing to build on this momentum with the newly created Head of Finance role.

Aprileen Alexander has joined Auddy from Global and Warner Music in a pivotable role which is key to driving the business growth to reach the forecast results for end 2024.  This role completes the leadership team of Auddy and across its associated companies, AudioMy and Radio Wolfgang.

Working closely with our heads of strategy and of M&A, Aprileen will ultimately be responsible for the financial assessment, valuation work and integration planning for existing and future M&A opportunities.

With a career spanning Banking, FCMG, Luxury Fashion and Media industries, her wealth of knowledge and experience garnered is perfect to support Auddy in its continued growth. In addition to her Finance experience, Aprileen brings to Auddy her DE&I experience, another important lens to Auddy’s work as we establish ourselves within the podcast industry.

Andrew Craissati, CEO and Founder of Auddy, has said ‘Aprileen’s experience and drive is the perfect addition to the Auddy business at this time.  Her passion for podcasts, and her desire to help build our business into a key player in the podcast space ensures that she was the perfect candidate to add to an already outstanding Leadership team at Auddy.  We are thrilled to have her on board.’

Aprileen has said of her move to Auddy: ‘I’m an avid podcast user and believe so much in this medium of learning and information dissemination, so naturally I was intrigued by the opportunity to look behind the hood of a podcast company. At this stage of my career, I’m looking forward to a more hands-on role, where I can be involved with building a business from the ground up. The Auddy interview process was very different to any other; it felt like a two-way street and I got the opportunity to not just learn about the business and leadership, but also the culture. It’s a good fit and I’m excited.”
