To the surprise of many, Charlie Brooks has announced this week that she is the brains behind the Award-Winning female pleasure product, The U which is
available for sale with partner Ann Summers. In addition to this, she has worked with Auddy to produce a documentary-style podcast series, which follows
Charlie as she brings a product of her own design to market.
Charlie uses a combination of voice notes and live recordings to tell her story, including interviews with experts, discussing prototypes and finding a partner to launch her product.
Auddy producer and editor, Holly Aquilina, says “It has been extraordinary sharing this journey with Charlie over the last four years. We have captured the highs and lows as she created her product and the end result is an open, honest story that many women across the world will connect with.”
But with limited business experience and plenty of self-doubt, her journey isn’t an easy ride. Speaking to experts, educators and entrepreneurs along the way,
